This gorgeous set of 2 stacking mugs features the ‘Block Flower’ design from Orla Kiely, which comes in 2 colourways. A fabulous retro design to add to your kitchen!

The mugs are adorned with tulip style flowers with two leaves below which repeats, set upon a white background. The navy colourway uses blues, whilst the bark colourway uses browns. Each mug holds 330ml of liquid allowing you to enjoy any beverage of your choice. The mugs feature a D-shaped handle and are finished with the alternate coloured base; brown on navy and blue on bark. The stepped base allows you to stack them on top of each other, perfect for storing away in the cupboard.

Block Flower

Bold blocks of colour create a simple tulip inspired flower. A large deep semi-circle creates the solid bloom which sits upon a stem featuring two simple leaves. The colour of the flower and leaves alternate, repeating across a crisp white background.

Qualified as a textile designer and a graduate of the RCA, Kiely has designed for Harrods, Marks & Spencer and Habitat. Her design breakthrough came when she created laminated cloth for making handbags; and her signature print ‘Stem’ is universally recognised. Known for her bright and colourful retro-inspired designs, Orla Kiely was awarded with an OBE in recognition of her services to business and the fashion industry in 2011. She draws upon childhood memories of a family kitchen with a retro vibe featuring olive green and orange, along with graphic tiles. Orla Kiely enjoys making ‘happy prints that make you smile’!
